Support the work at L Street Mission through our most flexible service opportunity!
Sign up to purchase items for and assemble 40-50 hygiene kits each month for L Street Mission. We ask that all kits be brought to church by the first Sunday of the month so that they can be taken to L Street on the following Saturday.
Each kit should include:

- 1 roll of toilet paper
- 1 pair of socks
- 1 pack of wet wipes, in unopened packaging
- 1 shaving razor
- 1 bar of soap, in unopened packaging
- 1 toothbrush, in unopened packaging
- 1 travel-sized toothpaste, in unopened packaging
- In colder months, 2-4 hand warmers
Each item should be new and contents clean so as to provide comfort to our guests that they are safe to use (the unhoused are sometimes subject to cruel and dangerous pranks). While the default is to use men's socks and razors, please feel free to make kits for women. These must be labeled appropriately so volunteers know to give them to women.
