Pine Street Inn
The third Saturday of every month
Details
Pine Street Inn is the largest homeless service provider in the New England area. Their mission is to partner with homeless individuals to help them move from the streets and shelter to a home. They provide street outreach, emergency services, supportive housing, job training and connections to employment.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, 3-5 Citylife volunteers serve dinner at the men's shelter in the South End of Boston from 4:45-6 pm. Food is already prepared before we arrive. There are a couple different entrances for volunteers to come through, and you will typically need to be buzzed to be let in. Please proceed to the info desk and let them know you're a volunteer, and they will walk you to the kitchen. There is parking (map) for volunteers.
***Pine Street Inn requires all volunteers to register through their volunteer database at least 12 hours prior to the shift HERE.
